03 Apr Arizona is going paperless
How many of you out there have trouble finding important documents when you need them? For example, if a cop pulled you over, how many people would have to search for their insurance card? Well, for residents of Idaho and Arizona the proof is now in your phone. Recently bills in both states will allow for wireless devices to show proof of insurance. So your Iphone or Android could be all you need to find. For those who worry about privacy the Arizona legislation says if you use your smart phone to show your insurance information, which does not authorize police to access other information on the device. Several other states are in various stages of passing similar bills. Soon helping you keep track of your insurance card will become just another thing your Iphone does to make life easier. For those in California, the bill is Assembly Bill 1708 and is still being passed through legislation.
